ELECTRONICS
ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT: RACING TECHNOLOGY
The power delivery of the 450 4-stroke engine relies on systems derived directly from the world of racing. The controls for Launch Control—adjustable across five levels for optimal starts—Quick Shift for gear changes without closing the throttle, Traction Control and the two maps are now integrated into the updated control panel within the handlebar guard.

LOOK
The RX 450 4T MY27 breaks with the past in terms of aesthetics, moving away from the traditional colour scheme in favour of an eye-catching red and black livery. This new look blends perfectly with the all-black structural components, such as the frame and tank.

DUNLOP TYRES
The model is fitted with new-generation Dunlop tyres, designed for intensive motocross use. Extremely efficient at transferring engine power to the ground, they offer a weight saving compared to their predecessors, greatly benefiting overall handling.

CHASSIS SPECIFIC TO THE 4-STROKE
While the tried-and-tested frame geometry remains unchanged, Beta’s engineers have developed new suspension settings for the Kayaba components (48 mm front fork and 50 mm monoshock) specifically for this model, designed to ensure maximum structural support during heavy landings from jumps.

NISSIN BRAKING SYSTEM
The Nissin system with 260 mm Galfer disks at the front and 240 mm at the rear remains a reliable choice, but has been enhanced by the adoption of a new 22 mm rear wheel shaft that increases the rigidity of the swingarm. The system ensures powerful and perfectly modulated braking to handle every hard braking manoeuvre at the limit.
COMPONENTS
The bike has evolved in its structural details: a new reinforced chain guide debuts to withstand the onslaught of mud and sand, combined with a redesigned pinion guard offering wider and safer coverage, in line with the most stringent competition regulations.

EXHAUST
The racing exhaust system remains a key element in optimising the power delivery curve of the RX 450 4T. It ensures a responsive low-end and exceptional top-end performance, guaranteeing consistent performance throughout the entire race.

HANDLEBAR SILENT BLOCKS
The handlebars are isolated via silent block supports to dampen vibrations and reduce arm fatigue. For the MY27, 5 mm raised handlebar supports have been adopted to optimise seat posture, combined with new grips featuring a softer compound.

ELECTRIC STARTER AND LITHIUM BATTERY
Reliable and secure starting on the first attempt in any weather or racing conditions, ensured by the standard electric starter powered by an ultra-lightweight lithium battery.
