SUSPENSION
SHC FRONT FORK
The SHC (Separate Hydraulic Chamber) front fork remains a cornerstone of the X-PRO chassis thanks to its asymmetrical design with separate function management – spring-loaded on the right fork leg and hydraulic on the left – which optimises performance and reduces weight by approximately 250 grams compared to a standard front fork.
For the 2027 model year, the suspension has been given a completely new setup, designed to further expand the bike’s range of use. Beta’s engineers focused on improving shock absorption, particularly in the initial phase of operation. The result is a new setting that is consistently precise and responsive, capable of maintaining optimal contact with the ground and increasing linearity of response. This evolution enhances riding comfort, catering to both the amateur seeking confidence and the pro rider tackling the toughest sections of Hard Enduro.
SUSPENSION XPRO MONO
In keeping with the character of the X-PRO, the monoshock has been specifically developed to work in perfect synergy with the SHC front forks, delivering optimal handling and consistently comfortable ride quality. In MY27, the rear suspension has been upgraded with the introduction of new aluminium components that help reduce the vehicle’s overall weight.
From a hydraulic perspective, the updates have focused on the brake system to achieve greater separation between high- and low-speed flow, enhancing absorption capacity and responsiveness to adjustments. The real technical revolution lies in the external management system: this aspect is now adjusted via new adjustments that allow the rider to intervene directly on the track quickly and immediately, without requiring the use of any tools.
TORQUE AND HIGH GEARS
The RR X-PRO 4T 480 represents the pinnacle of power in the range. Its generous displacement is designed for riders who love to ride using high gears and who seek immediate response at any rev, translating the displacement into an impressive yet always manageable thrust.
INTEGRATED ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT
The handlebar protection has been given a fresh look and features a redesigned control panel that brings together the bike’s controls. In addition to the traditional two engine maps (Standard and Soft) and the tried-and-tested two-level Traction Control, new features include 5-level Launch Control for lightning-fast starts and Quick Shift, for changing gears without releasing the throttle.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND BATTERY
The 4-stroke models benefit from an improved voltage regulator that ensures a higher, more stable and efficient voltage to all on-board components. This update increases the charging capacity of the lightweight lithium battery, ensuring maximum operational continuity of the bike even during the longest sessions.
MECHANICAL CHAIN TENSIONER
The 4-stroke engine features a new mechanical chain tensioner with a newly calibrated spring, replacing the previous hydraulic system. This modification optimises friction and operational smoothness, contributing to a more fluid engine response and more effective starts in both hot and cold conditions.
COOLANT EXPANSION TANK
The coolant expansion tank, with a capacity of approximately 200cc, allows for the recovery of water that may be expelled from the radiator as temperatures rise, particularly during slower, more technical riding, or on extreme enduro sections.
NISSIN BRAKE PUMP
The X-PRO MY27 models retain the cross-derived front brake caliper. Small, lightweight and high-performance, it ensures incisive performance and powerful braking during the most aggressive corner exits at the limit, whilst maintaining the traditional modularity and safety of the systems chosen by Beta’s engineers.
FRONT RECOVERY BELT
To emphasise the Extreme character of the RR X-PRO, a new front recovery belt has been introduced, customised with Beta embroidery, extremely useful for getting out of the most difficult situations.
Trailtech instrumentation and details
The new Trailtech digital dashboard makes its debut: larger, more robust and easier to read, paired with a high-precision wheel sensor. The MY27 package adds new, softer anti-fatigue grips, a reinforced chain guide and an enlarged pinion guard.
